“Hey, remember when we did this in Melbourne?”
This is the one thing I hope my muses take away with them on their multi-day overseas Melbourne prewedding shoots.
A nice bonus is that we capture the kind of images with that extra special spark – you know those ones, the type that come with an extra layer of aliveness because you’ve been inspired by a place. (See why I love travelling for prewedding shoots here.)
I met Beatrice and Edwin in Singapore and couldn’t have been happier when they told me about their planned Melbourne getaway. Edwin proposed in Melbourne and they wanted to capture the magic they felt.
We took off for 3 days at a unique point in time, right before they said ‘I do’.
Our sole purpose was to create “hey remember when we did this” landmarks in their memories.
This getaway was equal parts hilarious (think along the lines of being attacked – and I mean ATTACKED – by alpacas) and heartwarming. Aside from the images below, what I took away from capturing this story is the precious human connections that I will always hold close to my heart.
Part I – “Are alpacas dangerous?”
(After being charged at and spat on, I can confirm that alpacas are in fact positively dangerous.)
Part II – Homestead
Part III – Between Sunrise and Sunset
Do you have tangible memories like these that you can hold years down the road? If you would like to schedule a Multi-day overseas Melbourne prewedding shoot with me, I’d love to chat with you.
