Melbourne City Sunset Wedding – Felicia & Caleb

The one where the city felt like a character in their story

Everything about this day felt just right. Felicia and Caleb are two people who are beautiful, inside and out, with a tight posse of loved ones who were ready to cheer them on into marriage. Their little celebration was held in the gorgeous Metropolis Events space in the middle of Melbourne city.

We ducked out of their wedding reception for some alone time – well, as alone as you can get in the middle of the city. Tourists and locals stopped to watch the newly minted married couple dance by the Yarra River. They called out cheers and congratulations. To me, it felt like we stepped into a small pocket of tranquillity, as the city glittered and night sky covered us with its iridescent purple-pink-blue-orange blanket. I can only imagine what it felt like for the two of them.

I feel ever so lucky to be invited to witness and capture such stories. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Felicia and Caleb.
